At Ability Speaks, our mission is to transform the landscape of direct care through compassionate service and unwavering commitment. We strive to empower individuals by delivering personalized, high-quality support that honors their unique needs and enhances their well-being. By providing these essential services, home and community programs enhance individual skills, promote independence, and strengthen community ties, ultimately contributing to healthier, more resilient communities.
Guided by a spirit of service, we foster meaningful connections and create a nurturing environment where everyone feels valued and cared for. Together, we aim to uplift lives, one act of kindness at a time. These services can help individuals navigate complex systems, advocating for their rights and needs to ensure they receive appropriate care and support. We do not define someone by “disability” but by ability.
Meet the Team
Corey Johnson, Ability Speaks Owner, Program Provider, AA Psych.
In 2018, while working as a behavioral therapist, I had the God given idea to begin the journey of opening a habilitation center which in turn transformed into a vision for HCS services. Through trial and error, pandemic and loss the vision finally came to fruition in 2024. “The journey has been nothing short of a fiery obstacles but I’ve certainly come out as strong as gold.” - Corey
Outside of direct care service and habilitation. Other passions include: writing, music, travel and working on her food truck.
