It all begins with an idea. In 2018 I had just graduated college and began working in the ABA field in Houston, Tx. I had no prior knowledge of the field but I had experience with IDD. While in the middle of a therapy session I had an epiphany of what career path I wanted to take. I knew it would take a leap of faith but it was one that wouldn’t come with regret. My purpose was to provide a better quality of life for those of us who need just a bit more care and consideration.

Over the course of 5 years, I worked tirelessly preparing for the day I’d be privileged to provide these life changing services throughout the community. The aim of Ability Speaks is to show that ability is displayed in different forms and it doesn’t have to limit experiencing a full life. We want to cultivate and environment where everyone’s wants, needs and desires can be heard because when ability speaks, we listen!
